  • Deep over bite

Dr Hanna has studied several types of orthodontic treatments extensively throughout his career and has compiled only the best available treatments to be on offer at Complete Smiles Bella Vista

Traditional Orthodontics also known as six month smiles

Recent technological advances and changes in bracket design have made orthodontic treatment much more discreet and comfortable whilst allowing for faster and more controlled movements. All of these combine to give you the smile you’ve always wanted, often in as little as 6 to 9 months. Best of all, no more big, unsightly metal brackets. At Complete smiles Bella Vista, we use clear brackets and white wires where possible to ensure our braces, and your treatment, is as discreet as possible.

Give Dr Hanna and his staff at Complete Smiles Bella Vista call today to arrange a consultation and begin your journey to a new more confident smile.

Invisalign

Invisalign is the new alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign is a cosmetic and functional revolutionary treatments that involves a series of clear removable aligners that are changed every 2 weeks. They are easy to use, wont interrupt your speech or work, and are virtually invisible. Each aligner is custom made for your teeth and to our smile design specifications to ensure the desired cosmetic outcome. The use of 3D imaging software coupled with the latest technologies allows you the patient to visualise the final look of your new smile before continuing with treatment. Once you are happy with your new, individually designed smile, your custom made aligners are then sent into production, and your new smile only a matter of months away.

Your Invisalign Sydney Consultation and Cost

The first step on the road to your new smile is an in depth one on one private consultation with Dr Hanna. At this appointment, Dr Hanna will undertake a thorough examination of your overall oral condition including not only the teeth themselves, but also the bite, facial structure, surrounding muscles and the TMJ, the joint responsible for jaw movement. This is a key diagnostic step that is often overlooked by other dentists who do not take into account the whole process involved in not only redesigning a smile, but also ensuring it will last in a stable new bite. This will ensure the longevity of the jaw joint and help prevent from causing any damage and reduced function. In Some advanced cases, a combination of treatments may be required to achieve the perfect smile. Dr Hanna’s unique skill sets will come into play with abilities to offer whitening, porcelain veneers, and any further cosmetic treatments to truly offer a complete smile makeover.

Invisalign Sydney Records

The next step in your new smile is to take a thorough recording of your existing dental condition and facial profile including the bite, facial structure, surrounding muscles and the TMJ, the joint responsible for jaw movement. A series of photographs, dental x-rays and impressions will then be sent off for the creation of your digital smile design.

Digital Case Design

Once Invisalign has received the dental records taken and the instructions for treatment as directed by Dr Hanna, they will create a digital simulation to be viewed and approved prior to fabrication of your customised individual Invisalign trays. Once the digital plan is approved, your aligners are then sent to manufacture.

Your New Invisalign smile begins

Congratulations, your first set of aligners will be fitted in the practice to ensure their comfort. Dr Hanna will go through all the instructions required to ensure the best possible outcome for your case. The aligners will need to be worn for a minimum of 22 hours per day. Wearing them for less than the required time per day will simply delay treatment and require a longer period of wear. Dr Hanna will then give you several week’s worth of aligners and schedule review appointment’s to ensure your smile is coming along nicely. All that’s left is for you to enjoy the peace of mind knowing your new smile is only a few trays away.

Clear Correct

Clear Correct, like Invisalign, is another invisible way to easily and comfortably straighten your teeth. Like other systems, clear correct can be done at any age to give you the smile you’ve always wanted. Clear correct is a series of clear, customised removable aligners that are changed every two weeks to deliver a new straighter smile.

Clear correct trays are virtually invisible so most people will be completely unaware you are slowly straightening your teeth, all they will notice is your amazing new smile! Clear Correct aligners are custom made from the highest detailed impressions specifically molded from your mouth. This ensures that not only do they fit perfectly, but they are also comfortable to wear. This makes them the perfect alternative to regular braces.

What can Clear Correct offer you?

Clear Correct can treat a wide variety of issues that keep people from achieving their ideal smiles. Straighter teeth don’t just look better; they work better too. Poorly-aligned teeth can interfere with bite function, wear out quicker, and are more prone to cavities. Ask Dr Hanna and his lovely staff for information on how Clear Correct can help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.

SmileTru

As one of the first providers of SmileTru in Sydney, Dr Hanna is pleased to offer it to patients at Complete Smiles Bella Vista. SmileTru is an exciting new revolution in invisible braces or clear tray systems. Unlike other systems, SmileTru is backed by world renowned Dentists and orthodontist with all treatments reviewed by a specialist prior to commencement. Dr Hanna is one of the few dentists in Sydney offering this revolutionary and ground breaking treatment

How Does it work?

With SmileTru, each tray is individually designed and tailored to you. The trays are designed to be comfortable enough for day to day wear and for long periods of time. The trays provide a gentle force to move the teeth to the desired position. Each tray is worn for 2 weeks and then changed to the next tray in the series. A consistent methodical approach by Dr Hanna, honed by years of experience with clear aligner systems ensures that the forces applied are gentle enough to move teeth without causing damage to the surrounding ligaments or root structures of the teeth. This also helps to reduce any possible discomfort.

The Benefits of SmileTru

As SmileTRU is virtually invisible when worn, adults can have their teeth straightened without anybody else knowing. The positioners are also removable for eating, public speaking or that Friday night date. Clear positioners offer minimal discomfort and impact on your daily routine compared with other Orthodontic treatment.

Are there any Limitations?

As with any form of orthodontic treatment, it’s important to understand that there are limitations to every treatment. A consultation with Dr Hanna will ensure that you are completely aware from the outset what can be achieved and how long each treatment will take.

Whilst clear aligner provide a fantastic alternative to traditional braces, some types of movements cannot be achieved with clear aligners alone. Some of the more difficult cases may require the use of appliances in the early stages to correct TMJ dysfunction or jaw misalignment prior to commencing clear trays. Dr Hanna undertakes a thorough examination of your overall oral condition including not only the teeth themselves, but also the bite, facial structure, surrounding muscles and the TMJ, the joint responsible for jaw movement. Inman Aligner

Dr Hanna and the team at Complete Smiles Bella Vista are one of the few fully accredited dentists in Sydney proud to offer the Inman aligner. This new alignment system offers patients the ability to correct minor crowding of the front teeth in a matter of weeks, not months or years.

The Inman aligner fills the gap created by those patients seeking small adjustments to their smile such as a slight rotation of a tooth or correcting of an overlap of the front teeth but without the significant costs and time associated with other forms of orthodontic treatments.

The benefits of the Inman aligner

  • An inexpensive, quick alternative to traditional orthodontics
  • Great results using just the one appliance, no multiple trays
  • Easily removed for that important work meeting or night out on the town

How does it work?

The Inman aligner works by gentle pressure on the teeth over wear through the day and night. It has two coiled springs that are attached to a bow or ‘lip bumper’, one on the outside of the teeth and one on the inside of the mouth. These bows gently oppose each other and the gradual force slowly moves and guides the teeth into the new position.

How long does treatment take?

Depending on the complexity of each case, treatment times can vary from 4 -16 weeks. To ensure treatment is completed as fast as possible, it’s important to wear the tray for a minimum of 16hrs per day. It’s not only possible to sleep with the retainer in place, it’s also more than encouraged as this will help build up valuable hours of wear in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
